Piping engineering encompasses the entire piping design from the very concept, the final design documents through to installation supervision.

The piping is designed based on 

•  the client´s building regulations and specifications;
• German and international standards (DIN, ANSI, BS);
• the technical rules and regulations

Depending on the requirements of the design documents or client´s needs different CAD tools and calculation programs are used for the piping design.

The piping design includes the following major aspects:

• Stocktaking (conventional or by laser scanning)
• Pipe class definition, component specifications, specifications and special-purpose part design
• Strength and stress analyses
• Complete 3D piping models
• Generation of piping plans and isometrics
• Bills of material
• Total lists of components
• Installation descriptions for piping construction, insulation, painting, labelling, scaffolds
• As-built and testing documentation.
